BTS stands for  Bloomfield Track Safaris, the previous name of the company when visitors were guided on multi-day 4WD tours through the Daintree Rainforest to Cook Town via the Bloomfield Track. 

Owners: Rob and Ann are passionate about showing off Port Douglas; together with their dedicated team they've provided transport services for over 30 years to the Port Douglas and Cairns communities.

Daintree Rainforest Guided Tours: operate from Port Douglas and Cairns, as well as door-to-door transfers to and from Mossman Gorge, Kuranda Skyrail and Hartley's Crocodile Adventures.

Airport Shuttle Service: operates daily between Port Douglas, Palm Cove and beaches and Cairns City Central. 

The first BTS Tour into the Daintree Rainforest took place in 1984 during a politically tempestuous time when the road from Cape Tribulation to the Bloomfield River was still under construction.

Bloomfield Track Safari: (now known as BTS Tours) guided visitors on a two-day excursion to Cooktown, three times a week for over 18 years. Currently, our one-day guided tour extends to Cape Tribulation via the Daintree Forest.

Environment Friendly: BTS Tours is proud to have pioneered the first environmentally friendly excursions on the Bloomfield Track including 4WD trips to the Bloomfield Waterfalls

World Heritage Listing: June 15 1987 at Mossman Gorge/ceremony, Prime Minister Bob Hawke announced the World Heritage Listing of the Wet Tropical Forests.
